  Sorry but U can't be baptized!

  if anyone is interested, i have a question about baptism.. i know that in the bible jesus told his disciples to go and gather up all people .

  who were willing to listen and make disciples of them baptizing them etc..etc..etc... so basically there would be a kinda pyramid effect taking place from that moment.

  in time and on until the end of this system of things.

  When one is baptised, they are baptised into the Body Of Christ, NOT into an organization or a denomination.

  Baptism by the WT, I believe to be into the WT, not into the Body Of Christ, whom the WT rejects.

  I believe a WT baptism to be a false baptism, even though the intent is well meaning. How can someone be baptised by a false prophet in the name of God, in the name of Jesus Christ.

  Matthew 28:19 says, "...in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit.

  The WT knows not even the relationship one has with Christ. They ursurp one's relationship they might have with Christ.

  After I left the WT and realized through this cult that I had rejected the Body Of Christ, I asked for Gods forgiveness and received it. I forgave myself too.

  What is God?

  i have yet to find a personal set of beliefs that will satisfy my mind, but one thing i am starting to get sure of is that there exists no "christian" god.

  the reasons for that belief aren't many, but proof that god exists isn't that plentiful either.

  i use the bible as proof god doesn't exist as it depicts it... others use it to prove he does, in fact, exist.

  When I open the Bible I love what I read. I am in awe of what I read. I respect what I read.

  I know the futility of this life. I know God exists. I have seen the manifestation of his Holy Spirit against unclean spirits.

  I am priviledged to know Christ. I am a miserable nothing without Christ. His spirit manifests itself with my spirit. I have managed to do most things wrong in my life; however, I have done this rightly by God's grace upon me.

  II Cor. 5:16-17 ... I once estimated Christ by what is external. I no longer estimate him such. There is a new creation whenever a man comes to be in Christ; what is old is gone, the new has come.

  I find Salvation is a choice of will. The journey there is in our nature to search for God.

  The Bible sets forth two basic requirements for Salvation, as follows:

  ...to believe in one's heart and mind that Jesus is the Son of God and that he died for our sins and was resurrected to life in heaven.

  ...to be baptised in outward manifestation of this belief and the symbolic washing away of past sins, being transferred by the holy spirit as a person into the Body Of Christ.

  This is all that is required! The WT cult does its belaboring heavy yoke thing, in stark contrast to the simplicity of God's magnificent arrangment.

  The WT ignores the workings of the Holy Spirit in preparing a person's conscience for the need of baptism. The WT elects to decide for itself at which point a person is worthy of baptism.

  What purpose do the 'Annointed' serve?

  have you ever wondered what the annointed do the other 364 days, when they're not partaking of the manischewitz?

  (or whatever the hell that cheap ass wine is called).. aren't they supposed to be rulers in heaven with jesus?.

  why aren't they getting any practice on earth?.

  In real Christianity, anointing is experienced by all spirit-filled Christians, which should be the case where the Christian can detect the Holy Spirit within his self and experience the effects it has upon him by his new nature, where he is drawn into a joint-heir relationship with Christ.

  Also, this heirship is expressed in the Christian's communion activity, demonstrating his discipled relationship with Christ. This heirship he has with Christ makes him an actual spiritual son of God, where he is reconciled before God to approach God through his son.

  The WT uses the expression "other sheep" of a different fold, making a two-level Christianity. This is entirely wrong.

  The expression "other sheep" applies to the GENTILES, to whom God's grace is extended, in manifestation, by the Holy Spirit, beyond the nation of Israel; that is, also to the nations, the non-Jews, such as for myself, perhaps you, and others.

  How could we all get along better together???

  without being slagged off for opinions expressed, without being ridiculed often, without constant smart ass one liners and put downs, how could we given the opportunity get along better together?

  not utopia, not this, not that, just a simple question in need of simple upbuilding replies that enable this place more to reflect the care for others it supposedly sets out to achieve.. any comments?.

  this got me to thinking.... now that most of us have left the wts, i notice some have taken other belief systems.

  some have come to a peace with their own ideas.. my question is are you involved with another religion?

  has it brought you more peace or happiness?

  Well, I am doing four-part harmony: me, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. 4 = 1, haha. We all are with the Body Of Christ.

  In particular, I just happen to attend a spiritually healthy little church in Grand Island called Grace Baptist.

  Took me about five years after leaving the JW's to find Christ. It would have happen sooner except I went back to college for about 2 1/2 years. I had fun; but it was not an active journey on my part to find Christ, more like a mental, emotional, physical healing period.

  It's all around gaining Savation by faith, from the knowledge one allows themself through their ears and eyes, with the intent to find God after the WT. The glue between these interactive levels is the prompting and galvanizing upon the nature of a person by the influence of the Holy Spirit.

  joel's post made me stop and think that we might give consideration to helping each other find jobs in this depressed economy.

  there's still jobs open and people being hired.

  finding them is the trick.

  How important is it to love someone in your life?

  how important is it to have someone special in your life?.

  when i was a regular pioneer, i was constantly hearing that i should put off getting involved with any romantic relationships because i would want to spend all my time with my new love, and i would give up serving as a pioneer.. after i left the borgs cuckoos nest, i still had to put off getting romantically involved in long-term relationships because of wanting to be a full time college student.

  later in life, i put off involvement again because of career options.

  Best to love Christ first, if you have found him. Then you find a like mind, a like heart in the Body Of Christ. Make marrying in Christ a priority over romantic or sexual love.

  Then learn about dependency behaviors, search for demonic infiltrations that might be causing family disfunctions. Learn about manic depressive types and passive-agressive behaviors, and so forth. Note if every day with this person will be a new battle with new rules.

  Look at the parents of the prospective love. Note the family realtionships. Their relationship will show what to expect with your love.

  Then you examine the living skills, social skills, parenting skills. Are they able to make a living for themselves. Can they sing, play music, enjoy applying a fertile mind. Can they discover life and laugh at themselves. Can they love and cry and allow themselves to be vunerable.

  Then after you are finished with your education with a living skill in hand, prepare to dedicate yourself to this person, and serve Christ until you reach the next life.

  Remember your spouse is someone with whom you will serve Christ, someone with whom you will raise normal rational Christian children, children who will know Christ's love because of the parent's example.

  i got this from someone from a list where a lot of them are experimenting with magnetic cranial stim, (on themselves) actually their stuff is low current with specific waveform patterns, sounds like a better way to go.
